Fuzzy Kudzu was made with hundreds of white stuffed animals. The stuffed animals were cut up, the pieces reconfigured, and then sewn back together into a variety of forms. These components became known as chunky nuggets, blooms, buds, appendages, tentacles, tumors, tails, and twigs. Since the deinstallation of the site-specific sculpture, I’ve salvaged selected chunky nuggets as stand alone pieces.
